cultural changes including  leadership development with LEGO SERIOUS PLAY Method"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During my experience as Change Management Consultant I have heard many times that clients tend to fall of their strategic goals for lack of leadership development and change management.\u00a0 I notice they fail because they treat both leadership development and change management as separate rather than interrelated challenges, Cultural changes cannot happen without a good development of leadership.<\/p>\n<p>I always approach them as one at the same time, and\u00a0 LEGO(r) SERIOUS PLAY(r) Method (LSP)\u00a0 helps them to find out how to coordinate their leadership development and change management efforts.<\/p>\n<p>The Method helps at all levels of an organization to overcome resistance of the cultural change that they are facing to find necessary component to succeed in a culture-change initiative,\u00a0 in this way Change initiatives becomes the best\u00a0 learning environments\u00a0 to develop leadership skills.<\/p>\n<p>The process begins with executives building with LSP desired results for change management\/leadership programs.\u00a0 \u00a0Once the goal is clear and accepted, executives can identify potential leaders throughout the organization to engage in the leadership development\/change management process.<\/p>\n<p>Then I involve those leaders to engage them\u00a0 in workshops using LSP\u00a0 to\u00a0 learn how to enact a desired change giving space to their teams to share\u00a0 the everyday experiences of organizational life.<\/p>\n<p>With LSP Leaders have the space to\u00a0 reflected on the experience and use their own (and others) reflections to\u00a0 plan subsequent actions.\u00a0 LSP Method help people to\u00a0 commit to accompanying deadlines, and to participate activley in subsequent\u00a0 actions.\u00a0 \u00a0I see it as a\u00a0 top-down process creates structure and motivation for employees to maintain engagement in the change\/leadership development process,\u00a0 it also provides emotional and social support potential leaders.<\/p>\n<p>Once the structure and motivation is secured and outlined,\u00a0 \u00a0leaders can learn change or adapt different soft skills from their experiences\u00a0 and reflections,\u00a0 \u00a0learning from each other as well as from their own efforts.<\/p>\n<p>LSP helps to build\u00a0 \u00a0drive bottom-up cultural change that provides leadership training in itself.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During my experience
